Mike began his career in insurance in 1976 in San Diego, California after 4 years in the U.S. Navy. In 1982, he moved back to Iowa and, with his brothers, founded the Nelson Brothers Agency.

Mike has a B.S. degree from Iowa State University and holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He is married and has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Greg came to the Quad Cities in 1977, and graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Marycrest College in 1981. Greg began his insurance career in 1982, when he joined his brothers to form Nelson Brothers Agency. He attained the CIC designation in 2003, and now oversees all commercial property & casualty for the agency. He was a scholarship basketball player at Marycrest, is a Black Belt in Karate, and enjoys golfing. He has two sons Blake and Brett who attend Bettendorf High school. They have formed a family with Greg's wife Cathy and her son Kyle and reside in Davenport.

Scott lives in Davenport with his wife Monica and their 2 sons, Collin and Seth. He has been in the insurance business since 1987, founding the company along with brothers Mike, Greg and Geoff. Scott focuses on and oversees the personal lines field at Nelson Brothers. In his freetime, he enjoys relaxing with his family and following his sons' various activities.

Dana started her career with Nelson Brothers Agency in 1999, representing the second generation of Nelsons in the agency. She specializes in personal lines insurance but also helps clients with their business insurance needs. Dana has lived in Bettendorf for most of her life and continues to call it home along with her husband, Justin and 2 children. She is a graduate of Bettendorf High School and Iowa State University.

Todd has been in the financial services industry since 1999 with a focus on life insurance, investments, and financial planning. He and his wife, Sara live in Coal Valley and have 6 children together, Cole, Lane, Jena, Doug, Kyle and Karyna. Todd came to the agency in 2006 and has a B.S. in economics from Northern Illinois University. When he's not working, he likes to play golf, volleyball, basketball and spending time with his family.

Jeff received his BA in business administration and accounting from Marycrest College in 1982. He started in the insurance business by joining Nelson Brothers in 1984. After a five-year sojourn to Chicago, he rejoined Nelson Brothers in 2004. He is licensed in personal and commercial lines, life and health. He lives in Davenport and has two grown children.

Crystal has been with Nelson Brothers Agency since 2001. Crystal currently focuses on writing Personal lines as well as small commercial lines Insurance business.  Crystal resides in Walcott with her husband Jason and two boys Conner and Roman.

Linda has been in the insurance business since 1997 focusing on personal lines, Life insurance and small commercial accounts. She was a captive agent before joining forces with the Nelson Brothers in 2010.

Linda is a native of the Quad Cities and resides in Bettendorf with her husband, son and daughter.

In her spare time she loves working out and watching her kids play in their various sports.

Lindsay has been in the insurance business since 2000, focusing primarily in the personal lines field. She joined Nelson Brothers Agency in 2010.  She is a graduate of Western Illinois University and lifelong Bettendorf resident.

Kim graduated from the University of Iowa in 2008 with a BA in Psychology. She worked for the Handicapped Development Center as a Residential Case manager prior to joining Nelson Brothers Agency.>

Jen began her career in insurance in 1995 as a commercial lines CSR. She moved to Bettendorf in 1998 and joined Nelson Brothers Agency. She is married and has 2 children.

Lori came to Nelson Brothers Agency in 2001 from Wells Fargo. She obtained her personal lines license in 2002 and her commercial license in 2005. She currently works with Greg Nelson, assisting with his accounts. Lori is a lifetime Davenport resident and still lives there with her 2 daughters.

Jeri has been with Nelson Brothers Agency since 2001. She is a licensed Customer Service agent and her job duties have ranged from handling of claims, data entry and assisting agents. Jeri is married and has a daughter, her and her family reside in LeClaire.

 Chris joined Nelson Brothers Agency in 2004, and works in the Commercial department. She assists in Commercial lines work for Matt, and Greg. Chris lives with her husband and dog Gidget in Moline.

Liz joined Nelson Brothers Agency in April 2011, and is Property and Casualty licensed.

She has two children and is engaged to be married this summer.

Joanna moved to Bettendorf in June 2011 from Kewaskum WI, joining the Nelson Brothers staff. Her duties include Customer Service Agent and she handles the claims in the office. She has 2 daughters Ashley and Cecily. She has been in insurance for the past 7 years licensed in property, casualty, life and health.

Michelle joined Nelson Brothers in May 2012, as a personal lines CSR. She is currently studing to obtain her license in Personal Lines.

She lives in Bettendorf with her husband and 2 children.

Liz Morthland joined the Commercial Department of Nelson Brothers Agency in September 2012. She currently is studying to obtain her BA in Human Resources Management from Ashford University, and is also working to get her license in Personal & Commercial lines.

Laura joined Nelson Brothers in 2013. Laura worked in the Life and Health Insurance industry for 10 years prior to having children and being a stay at home mom. She has come back to the insurance field to assist in Life and Health, and is studying for her Insurance license again.
